Whew...it's been awhile...

Wow it's been some time friends. I've been keeping up with your blogs, but have been terrible about keeping up with my own. When last I posted we had just returned from our fabulous Caribbean cruise. That was back in FEBRUARY!?!?! We've been up to a lot since then. LD is doing great!! He's always on the go. People are stunned by just how active my little man is. After our cruise LD and I headed back to FL to visit LD's Great Grandma. We had a great time!! We saw manatees, dolphins(even a baby one-it was too cute), went on LD's first personal boat ride, and played at some fun playgrounds. My aunt and uncle even turned up their pool to hot as a bath so Mommy would swim with LD. He's such a little fish and loves the pool!! Here's some photos:

In March we went with Daddy on a business trip a few hours south of where we live. We had a great time exploring Williamsburg. We explored Colonial Williamsburg where LD finally got to meet a horse in person. We also took him to an amazing city operated farm animal zoo. LD love, Love, LOVES birds and the ducks, geese, and turkeys he saw were so exciting for him and the rest of us. We were sad to leave Daddy when the weekend was over but we ended up with a BIG little surprise that will help us remember what a fabulous weekend we had in Williamsburg!! In April we had our first Easter egg hunt that proved to be a blast!! LD snatched up his limit of 10 eggs in a few quick moments. He was proud of the stickers he got and Daddy took the candy off his hands which he didn't seem to mind. When he turned his 10 plastic eggs in he was rewarded with a chalk easter egg that he thought was pretty darn cool.

May has been a busy month with playgroups and company. We are in the midst of about a straight month of company staying at our house. LD does a great job keeping people entertained and busy. This week he turned 22 months old. I can't believe in 2 short months he'll be 2!! I look at him daily and am so utterly thankful he is in my life. He is an unbelievable little person and I am so proud to be his Mama!!
